Testimonies

For people and organizations that don't receive the recognition that they "feel" they deserve, there is a tendency to praise themselves. In other words, "tooting their own horn." The DRIVEN Foundation IS NOT one of those organizations. Our hard work and dedication to serving our community often results in an outpouring of testimonies from the people whose lives we have affected. Not only do these testimonies serve as evidence that we REALLY are making a difference, but they keep us driven and motivated to impact more lives!

Testimonies are either a verbal or written recollection of an experience. Testimonies are factual. We understand that when we serve our community it does not guarantee that everyone will have a positive experience. However, those that do find value in our services, programs and events offer their gratitude through their testimonies. The testimonies below are powerful, encouraging and they truly reveal the positive impact The DRIVEN Foundation is making in the lives of others. Thank you for sharing your testimonies and allowing The Driven Foundation to share in your lives!

Thank you so much for being part out commencement and also for being so flexible at the last minute. Both students and parents had many nice things to say about your speech and your ability to relate to the kids.I personally want to thank you for the impact you have had on our students at Horizon.  You are a great role model and I know they all think very highly of you!

~Shawn Ritter, Horizon Science Acdemy Middle School - 5.6.13

"It has been a pleasure working with the DRIVEN Foundation.  You (Roy) and the foundation have had a fantastic impact on our students and staff.  We strive to teach our students the value of giving back and working as a team to meet a common goal and DRIVEN has helped provide that opportunity with the Food Outreach.  Our kids were very proud of exceeding their goal of 1500 canned goods and the video clip will help show them where there contributions went, but more importantly show them there is a lot of work to be done and plenty of good people who are willing to give back."

~Shawn Ritter, Horizon Science Acdemy Middle School

"On October 25th, Horizon Science Academy Middle School had the privilege of welcoming Roy Hall to come in and speak with our 7th and 8th grade students about the ABCDC’s of success.   Roy shared his life story with the students, but more importantly he discussed how he overcame adversity and reached his goals.  “If you don’t like something, change your attitude about it.”  This particular quote from Roy resonated with our students.  Our students face a lot of tough challenges on a daily basis and Roy helped explain how a simple attitude adjustment can make all the difference, after all, it is the “A” in the ABCDC’s, because it all starts with attitude.   His message was right on point and on behalf of all of our students and staff at Horizon we look forward having you back in the future."

~Shawn Ritter,  Asst. Dean of Students & Community Relations Rep., Horizon Science Academy Middle School (Columbus, OH)
