In football, the offensive line protects the quarterback from opposition. In life, the DRIVEN Offensive Line is a collection of men and women who “protect” families facing obstacles by offering their financial resources to DRIVEN on a monthly basis.

If you are reading this, you are probably considering making a monthly donation to the DRIVEN Foundation. The DRIVEN Offensive Line is designed to keep you connected to the DRIVEN Foundation through your giving and through your heart. The Offensive Line is our continous giving program of $20.00+ per month. We understand that your resources are extremely important to your day-to-day living, but we also understand that sacrificing a piece of what you have so that others can have "something" is an amazing display of character. The members of the DRIVEN Offensive Line are the most important partnerships that we have as an organization. In addition, DRIVEN Offensive Line members are at the top of the list for updates, volunteer opportunities, event tickets and discounts in the DRIVEN Foundation Store. 

 

FAQ

What do I have to do to become a member of the DRIVEN Offensive Line?

Simply make a donation of $20.00+ to the DRIVEN foundation. A DRIVEN staff member will contact you via email and ask if would you like to be set up for our Offensive Line

Contact us and request that you be a member of the DRIVEN Offensive Line and we will get you set up.

 

Can I donate with a credit card and/or ACH withdrawal?

Yes. We can process your donation with a credit card (Visa, Masercard, Discover, AMEX) or we can schedule an automatic withdrawl from your checking account every month.

 

What day of the month will my donation be made?

Donations are made on one of three days; the 3rd, 15th or 25th of every month. The date that is closest to your initial donation transaction will dictate what day your contribution will be deducted form your account/credit card. 

Ex. If you initially  make a donation on Febraury 18th of $20.00, your next offensive line donation would come out of your account on March 15th. 

 

What does my monthly gift of  $20.00 support? 

Glad that you asked! With the economy the way that it is, it is difficult for non-profit organizations to receive consistent large gifts from businesses. We have found that through small, but impactful donations from the people, we are able to accomplish much more without worriyng about where funding is coming from. Below are three areas that your $20.00 gift supports:

The DRIVEN Food Outreach (More Information)

  • In 2012 we distributed approximately 100,000 pounds of FREE food to Central Ohio families.
  • 876 families recieved a box of food.
  • Food alone for the event was $14,000.00+. 
  • Averaging $15.98 per family.
  • By giving just $20.00/month you alone would feed 15 families over the holiday season. 
  • Menu includes: 5 lb. chicken, large potatoes, sweet potatoes, cereal, bottled water, 10 canned food items, 5 boxed food items, pasta, pasta sauce, bread, pastries, apples, oranges, salad and steak. 

DRIVEN Birthday Bash (More Information)

  • Every month the DRIVEN Foundation hosts a FREE celebration party for children that have recently been discharged from Children's Hopsital. We Celebrate their strength and their life! These parties consist of 15-20 guests, cake, food and gifts at either Magic Mountain, Fort Rapids Water Park, Lazer Kraze or Skate Zone 71. 
  • Cost of party: $400.00
  • By giving $20.00/month you can cover half of this cost.
  • By giving $35.00/month you can cover the cost of an entire party! 

Back To School Blast (More Information)

The DRIVEN Foundation helps collect/purchase school supplies for the Columbus Christian Center Church Back to School Blast. In 2012 DRIVEN helped secure and distribute more than 1,000 bookbags to 1,000 students filled to capacity with school supplies. 

Costs for supplies:

  • 1,000 Bookbags - $7500.00     
  • 3,000 Notebooks - $1500.00    
  • 3,000 Pocket Folders - $1200.00
  • 1,000 Notebook Paper - $1,000.00  
  • 1,000 Boxes of 24-Pack Crayons - $500.00
  • 1,000 3-Pack Glue Sticks - $1200.00    
  • 1,000 10-Pack Pencils $1500.00
  • 1,000 10-Pack Pens $1600.00

             $16,000.00 ($16.00 per child/student)

  • By making a $20.00/month donation, you can be the reason that 15 students will be equipped with the necessary school suplies to start their 2013 academic year!

 

Are my donations tax deductible?

Yes! All financial gifts are 100% tax deductible.
