Family Portraits are the best form of memories that you can have.  Simply put, it's the tangable thing you can touch and feel that will bring back the wonderful memories of days that have passed.

I love doing family portraits in a natural setting on location to allow for personalities to shine.  Having professional family photographs done this way also gives the children something to focus on and allows them to run, jump, skip, laugh and play.  These are important components when considering where to take your family photographs.

To ensure that you get the best possible photographs you want to make sure that your family compliments eachother with the clothes that they wear.  You don't have to match, just compliment.  Afterall - your personalities are not the same so your clothes shouldn't be either.

When I do my Family Portraits I give at least an hour to an hour and a half to each family; unless it's a mini session.

That time frame gives children a chance to discover their surroundings and also give each family member time and space to interact.

 It is recommended that with each additional family unit you book an additional session to get the most for your experience and to allow time for photographs of the whole family as well as indiviual portraits.
